Long weekend delight

What a weekend! Five days of pure bliss and doing, well, not much at all. But that was the beauty of it. I had been hanging out for the Easter break since day two, term one (when I realised I wasn't ready for another year!) While most people had plans for the five-day break, fiancé and I had none. It was such a good feeling, pottering around the house, doing things at a slow pace, even staying in our pj's till midday one morning! The weather was kind and showed us that summer was still lingering around. We took advantage of the endless sunshine and made the short hike to Fremantle where we ate delicious Organic donuts (my fav!), checked out the street performers and made our way to South Beach for the sunset...and handstands! After some serious chocolate eating, I felt a game of tennis was in order so we headed to Pete's school where we have access to the well-kept courts. It was a game-for-game match but my tennis skills just weren't enough and I was outdone by "Pete Sampras" in a hilariously not-so-serious game. Easter eggs burned off!

On the wedding side of things, on Saturday I managed to choose between the two gorgeous wedding dresses I had mentioned in my previous post. That's right- I have a wedding dress!!! Mission complete. Funnily enough the decision wasn't all that hard. I had been told so many times that when you find the dress, you will just know. It was exactly that and I am unbelievably excited to be getting married in this dress and I can't wait to show it off to the world when I walk down the ailse in 9 months time.

A few snapshots from my weekend

Thanks to Pete for capturing my "Sand stands".

Hope you all had a splendid Easter weekend.
