Holidays & weddings

The school holidays are over. Sigh. I'm taking some deep breaths as I enter into term 4, my final school term here in Perth, my last term as 'Miss Nichols', my final 10 weeks left teaching the Perth kiddies and ticking off our 'to-do-before-we-leave' list. Que, emotions.

After returning from a busy week in Melbourne, Pete's parents journeyed to the West by train and we spent the week strolling the streets of Fremantle, checking out a submarine (not just the outside!), eating a feast at Jamie Oliver's restaurant while also cooking up my own healthy treats at home...recipes to come!

We spent our last few days of the much deserved break in Eagle Bay, attending the wedding of dear friends of ours. It was a truly beautiful celebration. There was a slight worry with the weather as the grey clouds hovered low over the vineyards, but this was no dampener on a day that was filled with lots of laughter, happy tears, a boogie or two on the dance floor, all surrounded by amazing friends. I just love weddings!
