Kale chips

I would like you all to take an oath and pledge with me to never buy packet chips again. This simple healthy homemade snack should give you every reason not to. A dehydrator is definitely not needed as said in many of the kale chip recipes I've read on the web and when a good friend of mine brought these to work and told me her house mate made them using an oven, I was all over it faster than you could say, well, kale chip!  I've made apple, pear and sweet potato chips before but you can't get that awesome 'crunch' from them like you do with kale. It's so damn good for you too as long as you go easy on the salt and something I could munch on all day long if only I had all the kale in the world!

Ingrediants:

1 large bunch of Kale
Olive oil ( I use spray to coat them easier)
Himalayan sea salt to sprinkle

Preheat oven to 175C.

Line a baking tray with baking paper

With a knife carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces.

Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner (As long as your Kale is not dripping wet, this step is optional)

Drizzle/spray kale with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt, (10 to 15 minutes.)
